Miami-Dade and Broward sit in Florida's High-Velocity Hurricane Zone, where fence and gate products need an approved wind rating. A gate that looks right but isn't rated can fail inspection, or fail in the first big storm.
We build wind-rated gates and fences, specify products with a Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance (NOA) where the code calls for one, and set columns and footings the way a general contractor builds them.

Do you repair gates and operators you didn't install?
Yes. We install LiftMaster operators and service and install all major gate operator brands, so we can work on the system you already have.
What if my gate breaks after hours or on a weekend?
Our office is open Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. After 5 PM and on weekends we take emergency calls for gates that are stuck open, stuck closed or damaged. Call 305-606-5791.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. The Gate and Construction Inc. holds Florida Certified General Contractor license CGC1536820 and is fully insured.
Do you build hurricane-rated gates and fences?
Yes. We build wind-rated gates and fences and use products with Miami-Dade approval (NOA) where the code requires it.
What warranty do you offer?
Our workmanship is warrantied for one year. Gate operators and other products also carry their manufacturer's warranty.
Do you offer maintenance contracts for HOAs and commercial properties?
Yes. Scheduled maintenance catches worn parts before they leave a gate stuck open or closed. Call us to set up a plan for your property.
